A Vogue Shoot with Hamish Bowles

UOVO is home to many important collections and Hamish Bowles’ extensive fashion archive is certainly no exception. While it is usually safely preserved in Hamish’s private unit designed for fashion storage, we were overjoyed to see some of the beautiful pieces emerge this June for a British Vogue photoshoot.

Hamish’s curatorial associates, Molly Sorkin and Jennifer Park, spent several days on-site, steaming and staging the gorgeous couture clothing in one of our viewing rooms. On the day of the shoot, a few were carefully selected and placed on our loading docks, providing the perfect backdrop for the great fashion collector himself.
