Head of Account Management – San Francisco, CA

Reporting to the Director of Operations in San Francisco, the Head of Account Management is responsible for overseeing the Account Management department. Key to a candidate’s success is the ability to communicate effectively, lead a team, and work across various departments to ensure the highest level of efficiency and client service is provided in the execution of all service work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and mentoring a team of professionals, fostering relationships, as well as experience managing complex projects.

This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Lead and actively manage a team of Account Managers in San Francisco to ensure the highest level of professionalism, efficiency, and client service is provided to all UOVO’s clientele in San Francisco.
  • Maintain a high level of accountability as it pertains to effective communication and service levels amongst the Account Management
  • Manage the new client onboarding process to successfully introduce new clients to UOVO; establishing and maintaining a relationship with clients to provide a senior escalation point in the event of service issues and/or client development
  • Oversee large-scale art logistics projects both personally, and in support of the Account Management team. This includes estimates, work orders, tracking spend and progress, coordinating with Operations, liaising with clients, and providing post-project reconciliations as
  • Provide on-site support and client interface whenever appropriate
  • Work closely with the Technical Operations team to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate execution of all service
  • Foster the growth of client relationships in San Francisco to encourage the retention, growth, and referrals of existing
  • In conjunction with the Business Development team, and other key stakeholders, work to identify growth opportunities for clients as it applies to storage and services. This includes identifying and executing client outreach via the Account
  • Regularly collaborate and communicate with the UOVO Account Management team in NYC/FL to ensure shared best practices, key initiatives, and departmental
  • Monitor departmental policies, procedures and record-keeping, driving more automation as it pertains to client documentation and our database,
  • Process any pertinent accounts payable and assist with A/R as needed
  • Contribute to and support regular reporting on key metrics for the Account Management department in the San Francisco
  • Recruit, train, and onboard all new Account Managers in San Francisco
  • In conjunction with other key stakeholders, establish goals and objectives in line with UOVO’s Performance Management program; providing regular feedback and completing annual performance reviews for all direct reports and their
  • Create a positive and engaging work environment by mentoring, coaching, and motivating direct team members and their teams if
  • Other projects as assigned by Manager
