Team Member: Sales

UOVO is looking for a motivated professional to join our growing sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and closing leasing opportunities, as well as representing UOVO to a broad group of art world, fashion and finance professionals. This team member is also expected to develop new leasing concepts and initiatives and participate in larger conversations regarding the strategic direction of the company.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lease art storage space to galleries, private collectors, museums, foundations, fashion houses, and artists through referrals, cold calling, walk-ins, in-person tours and meetings, and networking
  • Draft written proposals and sales presentations
  • Maintain and expand a database of qualified leads, as well as a tracker for leasing progress / updates
  • Work together with sales colleagues to develop and implement project-based outreach efforts
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create collateral and execute strategic initiatives
  • Represent UOVO at art openings and events (brand ambassador)
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Any other projects or tasks assigned by Manager

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Proactive and collaborative outlook
  • Comfortable in a results-driven workplace
  • Interested in networking, making connections and cold calling
  • Excellent phone manner, writing skills, and presentation skills
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience
  • Experience interacting with high touch clients strongly preferred
