The 2017 UOVO Artadia Award

 

UOVO is thrilled to announce our partnership with Artadia, a national non-profit organization that supports visual artists with unrestricted, merit-based awards and fosters connections for awardees to promote and expose their work. In the past 18 years, Artadia has awarded over $3 million to more than 300 artists throughout Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco.

We’re proud to align ourselves with an organization creating sustainable fiscal and social change for artists. This partnership underscores our commitment to engaging with the arts community at all levels from artists working in their studios to the collectors and institutions that support them.

In addition to naming one of the two 2017 New York Artadia Awards, UOVO will be hosting a reception at our Long Island City facility in celebration of the finalists in April.

The New York Artadia Awards are open to all visual artists living and working in New York City. Artadia Awardees are selected through a two-tier jury process that combines local expertise with outside perspective from leading curators and artists.
