UOVO is now an AEFI Lead Underwriter

 

At UOVO, we have centered our mission around safeguarding crucial components of our shared cultural heritage, including the artworks and archives that comprise artists’ creative legacies.

As a dimension of this commitment, we are eager to expand our role as an innovative partner to the arts community. To that end, we’re pleased to announce that we have become a Lead Underwriter of the Aspen Institute’s Artist-Endowed Foundation’s Initiative/AEFI. This important program conducts research and shares effective practices to strengthen the charitable impact of the artist-endowed foundation community.

This new partnership builds on UOVO’s experience helping artist-endowed foundations advance their crucial stewardship missions: securing collections during the estate settlement process, organizing large collection inventory and digitization projects, and providing tailored spaces for archivists, conservators, and photographers to work on-site. On an ongoing basis, we support our foundation clients by providing storage for their works, facilitating curator viewings for museum exhibition loans, and coordinating complex moves across cities and countries.

Our role as an AEFI Lead Underwriter means that we will provide core support to sustain the program and collaborate in the development and dissemination of educational information to assist the artist-endowed foundation field.
