Behind every New York Fashion Week are countless teams working together to make the shows come to life – and each year, UOVO Fashion has partnered with designers and labels to preserve collections, transport samples, and ensure pieces are runway-ready for New York Fashion Week. This year, we took our involvement a step further by hosting a fashion show at our flagship art storage facility in Long Island City, Queens.
MONSE, the luxury New York label, has always viewed their work as a blend of fashion and art. Founders Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim told Vogue, “There is something about what we do, Laura and I, that is Picasso-like.” To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they brought those worlds together by unveiling their Spring 2026 collection at UOVO.
Models unveiled MONSE’s Spring 2026 ready-to-wear looks as they moved through our viewing rooms, adorned with fine art on display from our founder Steve Guttman’s personal collection. Every inch of our facility, from offices to shipping docks, was used to create a one-of-a-kind backdrop for the collection’s unveiling.
“Our collaboration with MONSE showcased exactly what UOVO does best – our ability to adapt and deliver for our clients in bold, unique ways,” says Brennan Lowery, General Manager at UOVO Fashion. “Transforming our Long Island City facility into a fully realized runway was a first for us, and it highlighted the incredible versatility of both our team and our space. We were honored to help bring MONSE’s vision to life, and we are excited for the next special project that comes our way.”
Ahead of the event, celebrities and fashion insiders gathered backstage to toast both the new collection and MONSE’s milestone 10th anniversary.
As Fernando Garcia recently told Vogue, “There is something about what we do, Laura and I, that is Picasso-like.” The UOVO team was honored to partner with a group that shares our belief in the seamless connection between fashion and art.
