The acquisition of Orange County Fine Art Storage and Display Art Services marks the company’s third location in California and entry to the greater Los Angeles market.
UOVO, the leading storage and services provider for art, fashion and wine, is pleased to announce its expansion to Southern California with the acquisition of Orange County Fine Art Storage and Display Art Services. OCFAS has been serving Orange County and the surrounding Los Angeles, San Diego and Palm Desert communities with fine art storage and logistics since its founding in 2009. The acquisition furthers UOVO’s commitment to widen its reach in key markets and is part of a larger move to provide comprehensive coverage to clients along the West Coast. The announcement follows UOVO’s acquisition of Ship Art International in San Francisco in 2021, adding to its growth in California.
The addition of OCFAS to UOVO’s portfolio will allow seamless service throughout Southern California, a vital hub for collectors, galleries, museums, and institutions. OCFAS currently operates two free-standing, climate-controlled art storage facilities in Anaheim and offers a suite of complementary services, including transportation and specialty packing. UOVO will assume ownership of the company’s assets and will retain its experienced staff of trained art handlers, drivers, and specialists. Former owner Brian Ross will also be staying on as a client development executive for the West Coast. Pairing deep knowledge of its clients’ needs with a national network and technical expertise, UOVO’s Southern California presence promises to deliver exceptional service to the region. Orange County will join UOVO’s best in class facilities in New York, Delaware, Miami, West Palm Beach, San Francisco, Denver, Aspen, and Dallas.
UOVO Co-Chairman, Steve Novenstein, said: “It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome the OCFAS team to UOVO. We thank Brian for entrusting us with his business. OCFAS has built a strong reputation throughout Orange County as a trusted art storage and services company, and they possess immense expertise. We look forward to building upon the legacy they have established as we strive to become the preferred art logistics provider on the West Coast.”
UOVO continues to evolve to serve the needs of clients across the country with new services and locations. Most recently, UOVO acquired a majority stake in Domaine, the premier wine services firm for serious collectors. In addition to art and wine, the company is also a leader in fashion storage and wardrobe management through its Garde Robe by UOVO service.
