Houston’s art scene has quickly become one of the strongest and most exciting in America. This year, Untitled Art Fair launched its inaugural Houston edition, bringing together galleries, collectors, and art lovers from the Houston area and beyond. UOVO was proud to be an official partner, helping to bring the fair to life.
We kicked off the weekend with a champagne toast in the UOVO Collectors Lounge, celebrating Untitled’s introduction to Houston–as well as our own . This summer, UOVO introduced our new location in Houston, powered by an expert technical team with decades of experience in the region.
UOVO hosted the panel, “10 Strategic Considerations for Building a Legacy Art Collection,” exploring the intersection of art and risk management. Pamela Moore, Director of Business Development at UOVO, was joined by Shanna Hennig, Senior Director at Winston Artory Group, and Adrienne Reid, Senior Vice President at Huntington T. Block Insurance Agency, for a conversation on appraisals, tax planning, climate resilience, and more.

UOVO also moderated “Conservation in an Age of Environmental Risk,” a conversation on how culture’s most cherished works can be protected from the unpredictable forces of nature. The panel brought together leading voices in the field, including Soraya Alcalá, Head of Paintings Conservation at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Michelle Dobbins, Director of Disaster Services at the Houston Arts Alliance; and Cory Rogge, Director of Conservation at the Menil Collection and President of the American Institute for Conservation.
It was a pleasure to celebrate and spend time with the Houston arts community, and we look forward to supporting its continued growth for many years to come!
